The Mighty Boosh Festival.

About 10 years ago lazy journalists started describing comedy as being the new Rock n’ Roll. This was of course complete bollocks. Comedians are usually the most un Rock n’ Roll people you are ever likely to meet … as a rule. Over the past 10 years there has only been one exception to that rule, only one true rock star comedian. His name is Noel Fielding and he is one half of The Mighty Boosh.

On Saturday the 5th of July Noel confirms his Rock star status along with partner Julian Barrett (not a rock star) by putting together the Mighty Boosh Festival, a one day open air festival of comedy and music and of course being The Boosh so, so much more.

The Festival is separated into 2 stages. Monkey Hell will take care of the music with Gary Numan, The Kills, White Denim, Jarvis Cocker and many others. The music stage will be headlined by The Boosh Band.

The Velvet Onion stage is where you go for your comedy needs with Ross Noble, Robin Ince, Simon Munnery, Greg Fleet, our own David O’Doherty and many others taking part.

The Boosh Festival takes place at The Hop Farm in Tonbridge in Kent. Tickets are £50. For lots more info visit the official site Here
