Carol Toibin
Having daintily danced onto the Irish scene in 2005 Carol brought her mad cap brand of surreal musings and reflections on absolutely anything from dehydration to Labradors to the Edinburgh Festival last year and lived to tell the joke.
She has supported the likes of David McSavage and Ardal O’Hanlon in Vicar St and also returned to embarrass herself on the same stage in the RTE production of the “Liffey Laughs” alongside Ed Byrne and Brendan Burns.
She has starred in the BBC show “One Night Stand”, an appropriate name for some of her material. Carol also made her Kilkenny Festival debut last year, and benefited from the mentoring of Deirdre O’Kane who took her under her wing after seeing her and made her funny. Hopefully.
