Cork Comedy Festival tickets now on sale
Tickets are now on sale for the 2011 Cork Comedy Festival, which features an extensive line-up of local and international stand-up comedians. All events will take place in pavilions and tents throughout Fitzgerald Park, in Cork city. The festival, in its infancy, promises to be the ‘festival of the summer for comedy fans’ in Ireland.
An array of performance artists and musicians will keep comedy lovers entertained between shows and comedy goers can enjoy a delicious selection of gourmet food, chilled beer and drinks.
The festival programme features a super line-up of of new and established talent from Ireland, including Colin Murphy, Dermot Whelan, David O’Doherty, The Rubber Bandits, Eleanor Tiernan, Karl Spain, The Nuala’s, Alan Shortt, Savage Eye, Maeve Higgins, Eric Lalor and many many more. The international line-up for the Festival includes Sean Lock, Glen Wool, the stars of Whose Line Is It Anyways? Paul Tylak and Patrick Monahan to name but a few.
While tickets are sold on a show-by-show basis, purchasing a ticket for any performance enables guests to spend that entire day in the festival grounds, where they will be entertained by music and street entertainers plus some sideshow attractions to ensure that festival atmosphere.
